All the people that came when i opened my mission call

My mission call...

I'm sure many of you heard that I was planning on serving a mission. My call came yesterday Sept. 22nd 2008. When it finally got here I started to get really nervous and almost feel sick. A couple hours later we had a bunch of people come over when I opened. After I found out that i would be serving in the Cherry Hill New Jersey Mission I just felt so at peace and I knew thats where the lord wanted me to go serve. Im so excited and I just can't wait to go...I report Nov. 19th, 2008. Which was exactly 2 months away from yesterday. It is very comforting because one of my friends Camille Gamboa( we grew up together and she moved away to upland when we were both in the 3rd grade) is actually reporting to the Mtc the same day as me. It will be so fun to be able to experience it together.

Last weekend we went to Alyssa Ruiz 16th birthday party...we had alot of fun...here are some pictures to show....

Courtney's Volley Ball Game

Courtney had her first volleyball game last Thursday. She did really good. Shes only a freshman and she made jv... She even got to start...I think its so cute of her...She wanted number 8 because that was Bretts number...another girl on the team took number 8 and courtney went and asked her if she could have that jersey and the girl let her...

Bryce's Waterpolo game

Well the pics from this game chaffey actually lost, but Bryce did really well and scored a couple goals...the guy that played on him was playing so dirty it was making me so mad. He played a game today me and my mom missed it but he said that chaffey won and that he made the first two shots in the game. The team they played against both days had alot of players so they could rotate in and out...alot of players on chaffeys team have bad grades so they dont get the oppurtunity to do this. They have to play the whole game which is very tireing for both of them.

The Boys Bike riding Trip

Hey Brett i thought you would enjoy seeing these pictures from the bike ride....for some reason we cant log into moms blog so you will just have to look at mine...And for everyone else some young men in our ward took a bike ride along the coast from northern cali to southern cali...this was a 500 mile bike ride and they ended up riding about 300 of it. They had a really good time and alot of great stories. Enjoy!

Courtney's New Room

Since Courtney had to miss her 8th grade graduation because our family took Brett to the mtc, my Parents said they would do somthing special for her. She decided she wanted to have her room redone. This is how it came out. Although i was a little upset because Courtney stole my bed, I got to change my room around too which is always fun.

This last picture is a picture of how my room looks now. My bed used to have those drawers underneath it but we wanted to have a trundle bed underneath it so we made the drawers into a little bench...Im pretty happy with how everything turned out.
