i MiSs ToMmY....
Do you ever have those days where there just harder then others and you just want what you cant have? well thats how i feel right now...i just wish i could have my tommy back with me. I long for that more then anyone will ever know and i cant wait for the day until we will be reunited again...i miss him so so much...

Oh, I remember days like that! What I found was most useful was to get out and be busy and keep myself going. It doesn't take it away but it makes it not so much on the forefront. I know it is seems so long while you are going through it but once he gets home you will look back and think "how did it go so fast?" Keep smiling and he will be home. It will be oh so worth it once he gets home too! Good luck...I know there are hard days! You can do it!
awww thanks...good advice for sure...i really do try to do that...i have 3 jobs...ha ha...but it will be over 3 years once we see each other again due to my mission and his...did u find that the end was the hardest...i only have 4 months left...i will smile...and be postitive...thanks for ur thoughts...hows the family by the way..miss u guys...
Yes, the end really was the hardest because I felt like it was close but it was still so far in a way. You are doing all you can and that is great. Just remember that it is OK to have hard days as long as we keep going and try to always find the bright spots, which I'm sure you are doing! 4 months! You've gone so long and now you can see the end. One thing that really helped me was to count the "Sundays" left instead of days. Sunday was always a different day and it helped the time to go by quicker because in my mind the number of Sundays seemed so much less! Let me know if it works for you.
Our family is doing great. The kids are growing before our eyes and keep us busy and entertained! We really love it out here with the exception of being so far from all our family. We miss you all so much but we love being able to follow you and keep up on your happenings. Thanks for doing a blog...it helps us feel connected! We have gained a renewed appreciation for technology and the opportunity it gives us to stay connected when distances are so far! Love you!
hey jen...its so funny...cause u know what u said about counting the sundays...i have started recently to count the wednesday...thats the day we get a wwekly email and update...i do thing its better then counting the actual days...i learned in my mission its never good to count the days..ha ha...glad to hear ur family is doing well...we miss u guys as well but we are so glad ur loving it..i wonder how far u live from jersey...im really hoping next summer to take a trip back there...maybe we could stop by and see you as well if its not too far. tell the kids hi and miss you all...aLLI
